Save a calculator as a favourite
Open a calculator and press the Favourite star. The calculator is then saved under My Calculators on the Categories page, so you can get back to it without searching.
- Open the calculator you use often.
- Look under the quick answer for the row with the Favourite star, Share and QR code buttons.
- Press the Favourite star.
- Open the Categories page and look for the My Calculators block.
Where your favourites appear
The My Calculators block on the Categories page has two lists, so the calculators you rely on are always close at hand.
- Favorites: the calculators you have starred.
- Recently used: the calculators you opened lately, even if you never starred them.
Favourites or Search?
Search is quickest when you are looking for something new. Press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac) anywhere on the site, type what you want to calculate, such as EMI, BMI or cm to inch, and choose a result.
Favourites suit the calculators you come back to again and again, because they are waiting for you in one place on the Categories page.
Good to know
Favourites and recently used calculators are kept in this browser only. They are not stored in your account and they are not synced between your devices.
- A favourite saved on your phone will not show on your laptop.
- Clearing your browser data removes your favourites and recents.
- Using private mode means they will not be kept either.
