Copy the answer
Use the Copy result button to copy the answer to your clipboard, then paste it into a message, a spreadsheet or a document.
- Enter your values and check the answer shown.
- Press Copy result.
- Paste it where you need it.
Copy a link
There are two places to get a link.
- Share: on devices that cannot open a share sheet, it copies the link. The link carries the values you entered, so anyone who opens it sees those numbers.
- QR code: the dialog has a Copy link button. It also has an Include my values switch, so set that before you copy.
Before you reset or leave
The Reset button clears the calculator back to its starting values, and your answer goes with it. Copy the result first if you want to keep it.
- Copy result is for the figure on its own.
- Share and Copy link are for the calculator with your inputs in it.
- Take a note of the values you used, so you can enter them again later.
Which one should I use?
| You want to | Use |
|---|---|
| Paste only the answer into a document | Copy result |
| Send someone the calculator with your inputs | Share |
| Send the calculator page with or without your values | Copy link in the QR code dialog |
