1Overview
Calcylator offers free online calculators. You don't need an account to use the calculators. Signing in with Google is optional, and if you choose it, the details described in "Signing in with Google" below are stored. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail to use the calculators. This policy explains the little information that is involved and the choices you have.
2The numbers you enter
Loan amounts, weights, dates and every other value you type into a calculator are used only to work out your answer. Some calculators run in your browser; others send the values to our server in a single request purely to compute the result, which is then returned to you.
We don't keep those values, tie them to you, or read them afterwards. A link you choose to share ("Share" or the QR code) contains your values only because you created it — anyone who opens that link sees those numbers.
3Signing in with Google (optional)
You can sign in with your Google account. The calculators work the same whether or not you sign in. We use the sign-in only to recognise you on this site.
If you sign in, we store the details Google shares with us: your Google account ID, your email address and whether Google has verified it, your name, the address of your profile picture, your language setting, and when you first and last signed in. We never see or store your Google password, and we don't store Google's access or refresh tokens.
Your favourites and history are not stored with your account. They stay in your own browser.
These details are kept in a database that we run. We don't sell them or use them for advertising. To ask us to show, correct or delete the details we hold about you, contact us at [contact email — add before publishing].
4Anonymous usage statistics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it and fix problems. It records aggregated, non-identifying information such as:
- which pages and calculators are visited, and how visitors arrive at the site
- the type of device, browser and screen size
- approximate location (country or city level), never your exact position
5Analytics and usage data (mobile app)
The Calcylator mobile app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the app and to improve its functionality and user experience.
Firebase Analytics may automatically collect information such as app usage events, session information, device and app identifiers, device information, and approximate location derived from IP address. The information collected depends on the app's configuration and the services enabled.
This information helps us understand app usage and improve the app. Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with its applicable privacy policies and service terms.
For more information about how Google processes data when using apps that use its services, please visit How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
For details about Google's privacy practices, please visit the Google Privacy Policy.
7Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Google provides the analytics described above. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
We may link to other websites; we're not responsible for their privacy practices.
8Your choices and rights
If you haven't signed in, we hold no personal information about you. If you have, you can ask us to show, correct or delete your sign-in details at any time (see the section on signing in with Google above). You can control cookies and local storage in your browser at any time, and you can stop analytics with the opt-out above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; this policy doesn't limit them.
9Children's privacy
The site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
10Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for example by adding a feature that stores information — we'll update this page and the date at the top before it takes effect.
