How do I browse calculators by category?
Open the Categories page to explore calculators by category and sub-topic when you are not sure what to search for.

Use the Categories page
The Categories page lets you browse calculators by category and then by sub-topic. It is a good route when you know the area, such as health or loans, but not the exact calculator name.
With 13,500+ calculators across 85 categories, browsing also shows you things you did not know to search for.
Browse step by step
Browsing takes only a few taps.
- Open the Categories page.
- Choose the category that fits, for example finance, health, maths, unit conversion, dates, everyday or business.
- Pick a sub-topic to narrow the list.
- Open a calculator from the list and enter your values.
My Calculators
The Categories page also has a My Calculators block. It lists your Favourites, which you add with the star on a calculator page, and the calculators you used recently.
When browsing is not enough
Sometimes a category is too broad, or you are not sure which one a calculator is filed under. In that case, try one of these.
- Use Search (Ctrl K, or ⌘ K on a Mac) if you know what you want to calculate.
- Read the Blogs page for guides with formulas and worked examples.
- If you still cannot find it, see the article on what to do when a calculator is missing.
