Using Calcylator on your phone
Use Calcylator in your phone browser or the Android app, and learn which controls and buttons help on a small screen.
Updated · Getting started
Two ways to use it on a phone
Open the site in your phone’s browser, with nothing to install. Or, on Android, select Get the Android app in the header or footer to open its Google Play page.
Controls that save typing
Typing on a small keyboard is slow, so use these where a calculator offers them.
- Quick-value buttons under a field fill in common values with one tap.
- Sliders can be dragged, or you can type a value into them.
- Dates use a date picker, so you do not have to type them.
- Dropdowns, toggles and radio buttons let you choose rather than type.
Search and favourites on a phone
Search is the Search button in the header. The Ctrl K shortcut is for keyboards, so on a phone use the button. Favourites and recently used calculators appear under My Calculators on the Categories page.
