Updated · Getting started
The short version
Pick a calculator, enter your values and the answer appears straight away on the same page. There is no sign-up and nothing to install. Calcylator has 13,500+ calculators across 85 categories, covering finance, health, maths, unit conversion, dates, everyday questions and business.
What a calculator page shows
Every calculator page follows the same layout, so once you have used one, the rest feel familiar.
- Inputs on one side, each with a label and a unit beside it (kg, cm, ₹, %).
- A quick answer that updates as you enter values, with no page reload.
- Buttons under the answer: a Favourite star, Share, QR code, Reset and Copy result.
- Below the calculator: the formula, a worked example, “See how the result changes” tables and, where it helps, charts such as principal versus interest on a loan.
Get started in four steps
- Find a calculator using Search in the header, or browse the Categories page.
- Open it and fill in the fields. Read the unit beside each one.
- Read the answer, which updates as you type.
- Scroll down to see how it was worked out, and try changing one input to see what happens.
What happens to your numbers
The numbers you enter are used only to work out your answer and are not stored. Some calculators run in your browser. Others send the values to the server in one request purely to compute the result, which is returned to you, and we do not keep or read those values afterwards.
Calculators give guidance, not financial, medical or tax advice, so confirm important decisions with a qualified professional.
