The short checklist
The more exactly the team can see what you saw, the faster a problem can be reproduced. Include the calculator’s name, the values you entered and the result you expected. A screenshot helps.
What to put in your message
| Include | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Calculator name | Takes the team straight to the right page. |
| Values you entered, with units | Lets the team get the same result you got. |
| What you saw | Shows exactly what looked wrong. |
| What you expected | Tells the team what the right answer should be. |
| Screenshot | Shows the page as you saw it. |
Send it step by step
- Open the calculator that has the issue and leave the values as they are.
- Take a screenshot of the inputs and the result.
- Note the calculator’s name at the top of the page.
- Select Contact support in the footer.
- Paste or write the details and send.
What to leave out
You do not need your Google password or any private details for a calculator question. Share the numbers you entered into the calculator, and nothing more than the team needs to see the same result you did.
- Do not send passwords.
- No support email address is shown on the site yet; Contact support in the footer is the way to reach the team.
