The short answer
Tap a quick-value button under a field to fill a common value, and drag a slider or type into it to set an exact number.
Quick-value buttons
Some fields have buttons under them that fill common values. They save typing and are a good starting point, especially on a phone where typing numbers takes longer.
- Tap a quick-value button under the field.
- The field fills with that value and the result updates.
- Adjust the number if you need something different.
Sliders
A slider can be dragged, or you can type a number into it. Dragging is fast for rough values and typing is better when you need an exact figure.
- Drag the slider to roughly where you want it.
- Type into the slider if you need a precise number.
- Watch the result, which updates as the value changes.
Not every field has a slider or quick-value buttons. If a field has neither, type the number into it directly.
